Megu opened a second Manhattan location, discreetly ensconced on the ground floor of the Trump World Tower. The project consisted of the installation of a restaurant kitchen, build-out of the restaurant on the ground and mezzanine levels, and installation of plumbing fixtures, handicap bathroom, ductwork, and sprinkler heads. In addition, a Public Assembly certification was required in compliance with the NYC Building Codes.

HVAC system design included A/C systems for dining areas, exhaust systems for kitchen and dining areas, heating for entrance.

Electrical system design included power distribution and branch circuiting for kitchen equipment, normal and emergency lighting, diming system, receptacles, etc., and a tie into existing base building 1,200 amp distribution switch.

Plumbing and fire protection system design included kitchen plumbing design, sprinkler system design for the entire restaurant, and fire alarm system design to comply with NYC Building Code, NFPA 72, and NEC.
