CAMPUS CAPITAL PLAN & PROGRAM STUDY
BINGHAMTON, NEW YORK

This study covers space utilization and space management, existing facilities, academic planning for physical space needs, project justification and description and project prioritization.  The work was broken down into four phases: inventory and analysis; campus issues and priorities; goals and objectives; and five year Campus Capital Plan.

Services included examining existing conditions of the MEP systems, reviewing available material (i.e., previous reports and survey forms) regarding the physical condition of the campus facilities and infrastructure, and meeting with Binghamton’s staff to discuss infrastructure conditions and needs.  A report was prepared which outlined various findings of the data review and field surveys.

In addition, L&J provided a preliminary assessment of the existing MEP systems.  The program study identified two types of project needs: critical maintenance and plant adaptation.
